Jami Templeton’s professional career began at age 20 with an encouragement award from the Metropolitan Opera, and has been flourishing ever since. Ms. Templeton studied classical voice under esteemed master teacher, Trish McCaffrey in her private studio, and at Manhattan School of Music. She also studied extensively under the creator of Speech Level Singing, Seth Riggs (Teacher of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Josh Groban, etc), followed by 2 years of immersive study in jazz under many legendary performers in NYC. Jami Templeton has performed all over the world in the realms of classical, pop, jazz and cabaret. In her own personal career, she learned to navigate the distinctly different techniques of contemporary and classical music, and her vocal studio reflects this diversity, with students gracing stages from Carnegie Hall to the major stadiums world-wide. Opera singers, Broadway actors, tour headliners, background singers to major stars. Grammy and Tony winning performers. She also is a former label executive, and an award-winning songwriter. Jami Templeton is a voice teacher, musical style coach, and career counselor based in North Hollywood, CA. She believes in an organic and holistic approach to singing.
